IAPS

Welfare College allows students to compete in an international assessment conducted by the University of New South whales. It is a leading educational measurement and assessment service that helps students realise their optimum potential to grow and reach global competitive standards.

IAPS aims to assess the academic skills of the students in key learning areas that are essential for success at school, as well as in the wider community. These include: Critical Thinking, Comprehension, Creativity, Reasoning and Problem Solving. IAS programme does a complete SWOT Analysis across the learning spectrum of students in order to bring them at par with international standards. The many benefits to this assessment include:

  • Identify their academic strengths and weaknesses
  • Compare their achievement with other students
  • Monitor their own progress year on year
  • Gain valuable experience in taking external tests

The assessments are held annually during the last 10 days of November. The 2016 subjects and associated dates are listed below:
